NOME WEARS AYMO

At the AYMO office, we’re listing to NOME to get us to the weekend. A band from our home country of Portugal, NOME started out in 2004 and have gone on to gain a huge following and have even been nominated for awards at the MTV EMA’s amongst other high accolades.

With a perchant for rock some catchy guitar riffs, we’re sure NOME can only get bigger. Not only does lead singer João Tiago have an sultry rock star voice, he also has awesome style. In fact, we recently spotted him wearing the Green Naz Shirt by AYMO.

THE FLATS ARE BACK

Flats are back. Models stomped down the catwalks of SS14 and AW14/15 in stylish flat shoes, where once the heel dominated. From Chanel’s couture trainers to Marc Jacobs sequinned ankle boots, the footwear for SS14 & AW14/15 illustrated a defiant change in the fashion industry.
After a decade of skyscraper heels reaching higher and higher as well as shoes so overly designed they resembled a piece of artwork rather than a pair of shoes, there has been a collective sigh across the fashion industry as comfort finally becomes fashionable.
No blogger or modern fashionista is complete without a pair of iconic DocMartens in their wardrobe. Thanks in many ways to the resurgence of the 90s grunge trend which has lingered on the catwalks for several seasons and looks set to continue. The popular 90s trend is all about laid back style, full of attitude and fun.
Flat shoes of course, are a festival necessity. A sturdy pair of stylish boots will be sure to help you navigate the festival terrain come rain or shine whilst keeping your feet comfortable for a full weekend of dancing until the early hours.
The Babucha Boots are inspired by the traditional footwear of the Berbere community deep in Riff Mountains of Morocco. Re-designed and re-imagined with a unique sense of style and practicality perfect for the coming seasons and sure to see your comfortably through a long summer of festival experiences and adventures.

Made from 100% leather, these quirky boots are a quality items of footwear inspired by both a traditional and contemporary design process. The Babucha Boots capture the whole essence of the flat show trend as we enter Spring Summer 2014, comfort, fun and style. You just need to add the attitude and the adventure!

FESTIVAL SCENE

Festival season is officially underway. This weekend sees hundreds of thousands descend upon the Isle of Wight Festival. An iconic festival with history that reaches back to 1968.

We see this as a key festival which truly kicks off the summer festival season. At AYMO, we’ve been getting inspired by the boho vibes of the Isle of Wight Festival and the adventures that festivals bring.

What we love so much about the Isle of Wight festival is that our Babucha boots would be right at home there. A perfect festival accessory, the Babucha boots can complete a total boho look and keep your stomping around all night long.

Check out the Babucha boots now and pick which design will finish off your festival look to a tee!
